About Vera
Vera is a warm and approachable professional dedicated to getting the best outcome for children whose parents are undergoing the process of separation. Vera aims to engage the parents to better understand their children’s needs. Her practice is imbued with decades of experience as well as evidence based research. She assists families to focus on salient aspects of the parent-child relationship.
Vera holds degrees in Psychology, Social Work and Mental Health Social Work. She is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) as well as a Child Consultant.
Vera holds professional membership with AASW, MHSW and the Resolution Institute.
In addition to this, Vera has acquired vast experience in the following fields for over thirty years: child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy, individual counselling, family therapy, parent education, relationship counselling, and grief counselling.
Over the last twenty years Vera has worked in family mediation as a registered FDRP and as a Child Consultant in child-inclusive mediation.
